  • Prior to each Sacrament being received there will be time spent in preparation, including prayer and faith formation (teaching). This time is important to help those who are to receive the Sacrament understand  the graces they will be receiving, and how that Sacrament can help them along their life long faith journey.

At St. John Neumann we offer preparation programs that are guided by the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops (USCCB). According to Canon Law - the Church Law - there are minimum age requirements, along with knowledge and understanding needed in order to receive the Sacrament. Some of this preparation will involve study at home as well as structured formation at SJN.
