For "non-social" nights (see parent letter with schedule), we will have Zoom capability for those who want to participate but are still weary of in-person gatherings. If you choose to participate at a time outside of the Sunday meeting time, I ask that either:
Parents should drive around the circle in front of the church where your teen will have temperature checked (touch-free thermometer) & asked screening questions before you depart. To save time, please read questions (click this link) before coming so you can answer "No" to all three questions versus having greeter read through all of them. After this, youth will enter the church, wash hands in restrooms then pick up materials for the night in the hall. (If you attend the 6pm Mass, please do not leave until after your teen has completed the screening)
In High School, we ask all of our students to assist at least once a year in at our 6 PM Mass as Lectors or Hospitality. For those who are active altar servers, lectors or hospitality ministers who serve throughout the year, you do not have to sign up.
When signing up, either choose to be a Lector or Hospitality.
When serving, please arrive by 5:30 pm on that Sunday evening, dressed in your Sunday best.
What does Hospitality do?
- Greet people as they come into the Church and hand out any worship aids
- Help with the collection and bring up the gifts
- Pass out bulletins
- Help organize the Church after Mass
What does a Lector do?
- Proclaim one of the readings
- Must prepare ahead of time!

I hope you enjoyed the Gobal Life Nights! If you missed previous ones, click on the link to watch the recording.

You can watch the remainder of the Alpha Youth series with your child(ren). (Note: questions are within the video.) You can also find the remaining videos on via a search on YouTube (we completed through episode 10).
The success of our Faith Formation programs relies heavily on the volunteerism of our confirmed SJN Parishioners. Please consider sharing one of your most valuable assets with our children…your TIME! There are many ways to get involved within the High School Program, whether it is working directly with the students or helping in the background!
We are looking for people to help in a number of different ways, but especially as a Core Team Member, Environment Setup, and chaperones for various events throughout the year. If you are interested or have questions, please contact Cheri'!
Adult Core Team members are volunteers for our Life Teen program. Core team members will attend sessions meeting on Sunday evenings from 6:45-8:15 pm, weekly.(less holiday/school break weeks) from mid September thru mid April. They will help facilitate small group discussions as well as other activities that may be part of the night. Core team members will also meet for regular planning sessions with other core team members.
