Faith Formation is delivered two-fold here at St John Neumann. First and foremost it is to be taught at home. To assist in this, you are provided handbooks written by Fr Rob Glasgow to cover the catechism in small pieces on a recurring basis. There have been simple ways shared by parents / grandparents as to how the family uses this to develop their faith. Whether it be having a child, or other family member, read a small section to all before dinner / bedtime each day or when driving to church for Mass, these handbooks are to make learning about our vast faith simpler for your family (aka the domestic church). The second is participating in our religious education program. Based on the grade of your child, we gather together with teachers who are prepared with information designed to teach your child at an appropriate level with their peers. For details on when and how instruction will be given, go to the Faith Formation page associated with the grade of your child.
The Sunday 10:00 AM Mass is live streamed on our YouTube channel:. https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCfkbhzv4yg9mUOnwnJ5dNvA
In the Church's Liturgy the divine blessing is fully revealed and communicated. The Father is acknowledged and adored as the source and the end of all the blessings of creation and salvation. In his Word who became incarnate, died, and rose for us, he fills us with his blessings. Through his Word, he pours into our hearts the Gift that contains all gifts, the Holy Spirit.."
